Invitation to submit music for
the Complete Jewish Wedding Songbook
Transcontinental Music invites you to submit musical material for inclusion in a new publication to be entitled, The Complete Jewish Wedding Songbook. This new collection will include musical settings of wedding liturgy, folk and contemporary songs proper for ceremony and reception and instrumental arrangements for same.
We are especially looking for the following:
- Newly composed songs on proper liturgical/Rabbinic/biblical texts, preferably with keyboard accompaniment
- Solo vocal and instrumental arrangements of 'folk' songs
The deadline for submission of music is Friday, October 22, 2004. We invite you to send us music you have composed or music written by others that you think should appear in the volume. Please send sheet music (make sure all composers are properly credited), (again) preferably with keyboard accompaniment) or lead sheets with chording. Please send professional-grade recordings, if one is available. Direct all submissions to:
